• Overseeing day-to-day finance operations and focusing on the long-term interests of the business
• Reviewing and developing operational processes to improve performance and maximise growth
• Optimizing our financial management policies and procedures, as well as mitigating financial risks
• Performing financial analysis, preparing financial forecasts, and advising senior management on strategic planning
• Preparing financial reports and budgets, as well as controlling and forecasting income and expenditure

• Monitoring auditing and taxation practices, as well as managing and evaluating benefits and compensation packages, including contractual agreements
• Ensuring that financial management policies and procedures adhere to regulatory standards
• Performing financial recordkeeping, as well as protecting sensitive and confidential information
• Owning and developing effective relationships with, suppliers, providers and internal stakeholders
• Extra duties as situations arise

• A minimum of two years’ experience as a management accountant in a related business
• Proficiency in business management and accounting software, such as Xero
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or similar
• Certified management accountant (CMA) preferred
• Solid financial skills, including financial reporting abilities 
• Extensive knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations

• Knowledge of project management and risk management
• Knowledge of laws and regulations and industry trends
• Knowledge of federal and state tax requirements
• Ability to understand business growth models and to foresee commercial opportunities
• Superb leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
• Exceptional attention to detail
